Rosie is a consultant specialising in air quality assessments and data analysis for a variety of projects. She has conducted numerous air quality assessments, utilising her experience with GIS and ADMS dispersion modelling, as well as conducting air quality monitoring. Her knowledge of air quality policy in the UK is supported through reviewing Local Air Quality Management (LAQM) reports. She is currently leading a project which involves comparing the UK’s GHG inventory with verification data compiled by the Met Office, and aims to improve the accuracy of UK’s reported GHG emissions.
Her projects have also included collaborating with the Joint Research Council to develop speciation profiles for non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs), compiling national AQ and GHG inventories and assessing AQ at a city level through the Green City Indicator Analysis. Rosie is also working with the EEA to develop QAQC processes to evaluate noise data and emissions projections from EU member states and to assess Member State emissions under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (reported under Article 21).
Rosie received a BSc in Environmental Sciences at the University of Birmingham and has gained research experience through a marine biology post at the Cawthron Institute in New Zealand.
Outside of work Rosie enjoys travelling, cycling and learning even more useless facts.
