Residential and Commercial

Aether has completed numerous air quality assessments in recent years, ranging from assessments for small-scale residential conversions to large mixed use developments.

Other examples include schools and nurseries, hospitals and hotels. These have been in the form of either screening assessments or detailed dispersion modelling. From project start, Aether liaises with both the client and local authority officers in order to determine the assessment requirements, enabling a fast turnaround of reports that adhere to best practice guidance.

The assessments are typically focused on emissions from road traffic, considering potential impacts of traffic generated by the scheme, along with the potential exposure to harmful air quality caused by the surrounding road network. Additionally the impact of onsite energy generation can be assessed.
