Quality Tools

Aether has developed a series of tools which facilitate efficient documentation and checking of datasets at any step in the data production process.  These tools are adapted to and can be embedded within existing MRV systems. They save time compared to conventional QA/QC approaches.

Quality assurance and quality control activities require skills and resources that are additional to core data processing tasks.  These QA/QC activities are essential for sustainable transparent systems but often add burden and time to data processing tasks.  Aether has developed the Q-Comments tool to help reduce this burden.

Aether's Q-Comments tool is a QA/QC documentation tool for Excel that offers inventory compilers and other data analysts a comprehensive, transparent means of documenting QA/QC information. Its unique tagging system can be used within existing calculation files, and the information is then collated in one easy to use summary. This allows the data analyst to quickly and efficiently review, extract and archive information.  Q-Comments was previously called QA Analyst.
