Emma has a first class Masters degree in Physics and has a year’s experience in emission inventories and related environmental consultancy. Emma has gained her experience from working on international, national and regional projects including:
• The development of an EU-27 ultra-fine particulates emissions inventory for the European Commission including analysis of LRTAP, E-PRTR and LCPD data.
• Development of the Merseyside atmospheric emissions inventory.
• Analysis of Member State inventory submissions under the LRTAP Convention and in the collation and analysis of the detailed Emissions Review Team’s recommendations under the LRTAP review process.
• Support to the development of greenhouse gas projection guidelines for the European Commission.
• Three months secondment support to the Irish EPA in compiling their GHG and AQ pollutants emission inventory submissions under UNFCCC/EUMM and CLRTAP.
In addition, Emma has recently become part of the core UK Devolved Administration Inventory team and is part of Aether’s team taking on responsibility for the compilation of the DA GHG and Air pollutant inventories and accompanying reports. Emma is also working on the review process for the Commissions Effort Sharing Decision and will be collating Annual Review Report recommendations and supporting the design of the review framework.
