Bid Co-ordinator

The Role

Aether is seeking candidates to support our business development team in finding and responding to prospects and bidding opportunities. The successful candidate will support our business development team in winning work and will focus on bid coordination and administrative preparation and delivering efficient, timely, high quality proposals.

You will be responsible for liaising and coordinating with various teams to produce tender plans and monitor schedules and reports, to deliver high quality bids.
As part of this role, you will also undertake other project and general administrative support to Aether’s business.

Required Experience and Skills

  • MS Office, particularly advanced levels of Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent, efficient English writing skills including proficient typing skills, ability to write concisely and to summarise complex documents;
  • Editing and proof-reading skills – ensuring documents are grammatically correct, well-structured and without spelling mistakes.  Sometimes also editing English from non-native English speakers;
  • Numerical confidence, with the ability to use spreadsheets, understand budgets and to translate our project finance needs into proposals;
  • Good financial and commercial judgement;
  • Ability to deliver under pressure;
  • Confidence in dealing with a range of internal and external people at various levels;
  • Experience of delivering high-quality outputs for external audiences - a good eye for document accuracy and visual appeal;
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills with strong attention to detail and strong time management/prioritisation skills;
