Emission estimates of PM0.1

10 December 2010

Aether are making emission estimates of PM0.1 for the EU27 as part of a project for the European Commission. A simple methodology has been used to generate headline emission estimates, which will be released shortly. A more sophisticated methodology is in the process of being developed, which will give more accurate estimates of PM0.1. The project will run until the end of 2011 and includes an assessment of nanoparticle emissions.
