Aether at the UBC conference in Sweden

30 October 2017

This month, Aether attended the 14th General Conference of the Union of the Baltic Cities (UBC), held in Växjö, Sweden.

Working together with our collaborator Benviroc, we met with several municipalities from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Germany and Lithuania. We discussed their work on sustainability, and presenting sustainability solutions such as greenhouse gas inventories and Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs) for municipalities wishing to improve their work on sustainability.

During the conference, we presented the latest progress on the Mayors’ Sustainable Development Indicators. The index will be launched in early 2018 by Aether and Benviroc and aims to compare municipalities’ sustainability across 50 indicators linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
