Yuchen has worked on a wide range of projects at Aether including greenhouse gas and air quality inventory, data analysis and coding related to Policies and Measures (PaMs) and National Emission reduction Commitments Directive (NECD).

Supporting the NECD Review of National Air Pollutant Emission Inventory 2023 through improvements to automatic checks in R.

Reviewed EU Member state submissions for Policies and Measures and summarised the findings in a report.

Analysed data of reported aviation activities to be used in greenhouse gas emissions reporting for ABX AIR Service
Before starting at Aether, Yuchen studied for a MSci in Earth Sciences at University College London. Her master's dissertation used python modelling to assess the impact of climate change on the hydrological cycle.
Outside of work, Yuchen enjoys going to concerts and reading murder mystery novels.
