Aether is working with the Institute of Transport Policy Studies in Tokyo to develop a global carbon dioxide transport policy scenario tool. The tool builds on the International Energy Agency's MoMo model and will be made available to the public once completed.

Aether has been commissioned by a firm of architects to undertake an air quality assessment for a proposed multi-storey car park at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. The project will use the air quality dispersion model AERMOD, to assess the impact of the development on local air quality concentrations.

The European Commission are in the process of revising the National Emissions Ceilings Directive. This will set limits on national pollutant emissions in the form of emission “ceilings”. Countries will need to reduce their emissions to below these ceilings by 2020.
