Aether providing GHG training and support to SSN

04 March 2014

The Sustainable Scotland Network (SSN) has been very successful in raising awareness of and encouraging reporting on area-wide emissions by Scottish public sector officers.  However, in order to improve understanding of the area-wide emissions, officers require training and guidance materials related to accounting methodologies and data sets in Scotland. As such, Aether has been enlisted as technical experts to work in partnership with the SSN.

The programme began in January with the provision of training on greenhouse gas estimation and reporting methodologies at the international, national and local scale. In March, Aether will be running three further workshops for a number of SSN members focusing on area-wide emissions reporting methodologies. Following on from this, Aether will be developing multimedia guidance materials to be distributed by SSN.
