Nicolas is specialised in emissions reporting and climate policy in the industrial and energy sectors, with a focus on governments and institutions overseas.

In his work at Aether, Nicolas makes use of his experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis to support clients in building the evidence base for climate policies. He also has experience in stakeholder engagement and workshop organisation.

Since he joined Aether, he has worked in GHG inventory compilation and projections, having supported the development of GHG projections used in Lebanon’s 2nd BTR. He has also gained sectoral skills in GHG inventory compilation for IPPU, as a junior expert in a project developing Saint Vincent and the Grenadine’s GHG inventory compilation.

Prior to joining Aether, Nicolas developed his experience in climate policy consulting at the EU level. His academic background is in engineering and the social study of technology.

Outside work, Nicolas enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors. He is also involved in a climate assembly of young voices finding concrete solutions for the decarbonisation of industry.
