I specialise in data and evidence analysis to inform national and sub-national policymaking.
Susie Wright, Senior Consultant
Susie has ten years of experience of climate related data analysis. Through her work with national and local government, she has built expertise in synthesising data, qualitative evidence and stakeholder input to inform climate policy development. Her current work focuses on supporting clients to understand their climate risk and develop plans to reduce these risks. She is motivated by a desire to support organisations and communities to build a positive vision for a resilient and decarbonised future.
Susie also works on projects supporting emissions reduction and has a particular interest in building joined up action across climate change mitigation, adaptation and other policy areas. As well as developing climate action plans, she works on greenhouse gas inventory compilation, review and improvement for a range of national governments and previously managed the improvement and verification programmes for the UK greenhouse gas inventory.
Projects include:
Prior to joining Aether, Susie worked in a number of roles across the UK government and wider public sector, providing evidence and analysis to support climate action. Susie also has a PhD in atmospheric physics from the University of Oxford.
Outside of work she can usually be found outside – running, playing football or trying to tame her vegetable garden.
