Aether expands land development services

Aether has strengthened its Land Development services with the appointment of Michael Dray as Principal Sustainability Advisor. Michael brings over a decade of experience in sustainability across the built environment, with specialist expertise in low-carbon infrastructure, life-cycle carbon assessment, and Passivhaus consultancy.

Building on Aether’s strong track record in air quality assessments in this sector, the team is now delivering advanced energy and sustainability strategies, including Part L energy modelling, Part O overheating assessments, and daylight and sunlight studies.

The team is currently developing a comprehensive zero-carbon strategy for a major eco-town in the South East of England, applying a fabric-first approach, low-carbon heating solutions, and maximised renewable energy provision. Alongside this, Aether is now helping to deliver several major developments across the UK, making real progress on carbon reduction and sustainability.

With Michael’s expertise complementing the existing team, Aether is excited to support more land development projects and continue growing its capabilities in this expanding sector.
