Aether provided voluntary support

21 October 2015

Aether spent the day volunteering at the Earth Trust’s Little Wittenham nature reserve near Wallingford.

The work involved coppicing in Little Wittenham Wood, which involves cutting down hazel trees to encourage re-growth. This allows more light to enter the woodland and for other species to colonise the area and provides the materials used in hedge laying. In addition, in the afternoon we prepared and seeded a wild flower meadow.
