Air Quality Assessment in Dartford

Aether has recently completed an air quality assessment for a proposed large residential development in Dartford. The proposed development consists of the construction of over 400 residential apartments, in conjunction with green infrastructure, and basement car parking and bicycle storage. The development is located within an area currently being re-developed, the Council are therefore concerned about the effect of cumulative impacts.

The assessment used the dispersion model ADMS roads to assess the pollutant concentrations both without and with development. In addition, Aether suggested mitigation measures to be implemented in order to reduce the developments impact on local air quality.
