Aether provide inventory training in Uzbekistan

2 January 2014

Chris Dore and Richard Claxton provided hands-on training and presentations during a two day workshop in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). The Secretariat of the UN/ECE is currently leading an initiative to encourage more countries to participate in the activities of the LRTAP Convention, and in particular become signatories to the Convention’s Protocols. The workshop was planned and undertaken to present to senior government representatives the air emissions reporting requirements of the Convention, and in particular how a national emissions inventory for Uzbekistan might be managed, compiled and reported to the UN/ECE.
