Aether workshop in South Africa

This week, Aether went to Pretoria, South Africa, to work with our local collaborators and present the latest development of our National System for Monitoring, Reporting and Verifying (MRV) greenhouse gas emissions for the Republic of South Africa.

Presenting at the South African Department of Environmental Affairs, the inter-departmental workshop provided an opportunity to present the developed National System to internal stakeholders, make linkages to other governmental departments, and outline potential data supply agreements.

At Aether, we have long-running experience of working with MRV and developing greenhouse gas inventories at national as well as local scale. In the last ten years, we’ve worked extensively with both developed and developing economies in Africa, Europe, South America and the Caribbean to provide a solid understanding of national greenhouse gas emissions, and meet reporting requirements.
