Project win: industrial air quality assessment

Aether were commissioned to undertake an air quality assessment for a proposed energy centre at a large development in Edgware, London. The scheme consists of a single Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant and 3 gas fired boilers. The project used the dispersion model AERMOD to assess the impact of the energy centre on ground level pollutant concentrations and then advised whether any mitigation was needed to reduce local residents’ exposure.
