Support to Malta Inventory teams

Aether has been working closely with the Malta Resources Authority (MRA) and the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) on their Greenhouse gas and Air Pollutant inventories since 2016. Through our flexible work packages Aether staff have provided a wide range of capacity building projects and have enjoyed in country visits to work with the national experts on all aspects of the inventory process and national system. This has included implementation of our quality tools for inventory compilation, uncertainity and key category analysis.

During 2020 Aether have offered remote support and specifc training targeted at new staff members on inventory compilation covering a range of topics from introductory concepts of inventory compilation to detailed training on road transport emissions and uncertainity analysis. Aether are looking forward to continued collaboration in 2021 and the future!
