Aether have been asked to complete a low emissions strategy for a proposed development in South Kensington. Recently there has been a move by some Local Authorities away from traditional air quality assessments to requiring low emission strategy assessments to be completed alongside the planning application for a proposed development.

Chris Dore was interviewed by local TV and radio regarding the closure of Didcot A power station. The coal fired station opted out of the Large Combustion Plant Directive, and as a result was given an allocation of 20,000 operating hours from 2008 onwards.

Aether have been asked to complete an air quality assessment for a proposed development of an energy centre that will run on biomass and use oil as a back up. The project will use the dispersion model AERMOD to assess the resulting ground level nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter concentrations.
