Aether took time away from their computers to visit the Mini plant in Cowley, Oxford. Cowley has an impressive car building heritage, with Morris Motors originally being established on the site.

Chris Dore chaired the annual meeting of the Task Force on Emissions Inventories and Projections (TFEIP) in Milan last week. The TFEIP co-ordinates technical work on emissions of air pollutants within EMEP, and is responsible for maintaining the EMEP/EEA Emissions Inventory Guidebook.
